"Let there be light"

Re-blogged via American Kabuki from Sophia Love

There's only one way to create.  "Let there be light", and light IS.  The story is simple, straightforward and clear.

It did not go – "Let there be light, and let it show up on Saturday, at 2:00 PM GMT, until precisely Midnight GMT, at only these places, while these 11 people are doing these 7 things, NOT these other things, or with these other people, or on this other day or in this other way."

We are Masters, becoming conscious of that fact.  We've recently been made aware of our value, our ability, our power and the truth of our multi-dimensional existence.  It is not that we are sometimes here and sometimes elsewhere, we are always all places.  It is not that we are creators some days and not others, we are and have always been Master creators.  The difference now is that we are doing so on purpose.

Like any new skill, it is gradually assimilated.  Through trial and error, we hone the craft.  It is brilliant in its simplicity and surprising in its reach.  Each moment, every thought, all words are creative.  Our wishes, frustrations, joys and disappointments send out a vibe.  From there, our life is made manifest.

Rather than worry over the multitude of thoughts we hold, we can remember just one; focus trumps all.

It is not a person, date, group or method that will grant your wish.  It is your intent, belief and focus.

If I decide to lose ten pounds and spend my days angry at the numbers on the scale or the image in the mirror, I will end up no closer to my goal at the end of them.  My weight will be unchanged most likely, only I'll be a bit more angry, discouraged and frustrated. If instead I spend time doing things I enjoy and I am active; while dressing to feel good about myself, then I will (feel good).  A by product of the increased activity and positive emotion could very well be a loss of weight.  In any case, I will be happier, which will attract more of what I enjoy.

We've been trained as slaves.  Slaves expect all things to come from their masters.  As we remove the shackles from our own limbs, it's time to also cut them from those we've decided hold the key.  The I/UV or any other prosperity/freedom package out there is not the controller of your destiny.  You are.

Remove your focus on who, how and when and place it solely on what.  FREEDOM.  ABUNDANCE.  UNITY.  TRUTH.  LOVE.  VALUE.  ABSOLUTE AWARENESS.    These are the attributes of a Master.  This is what your life is.  Not because Caleb released a piece of software, St. Germaine released the gold or of any other specific event.  Because this is what you are.

You are not becoming anything new.  You are realizing your very own truth.  A caterpillar has always held the makings of a butterfly, albeit unaware.  You have within the attributes of Mastery.  The controllers have effectively convinced you of your need for something outside yourself.  You have no need, you are Gods.

Aim your focus squarely on freedom; watch heaven manifest before your eyes.  This is more about belief than faith.  Faith can distract you with details and descriptions of what is not happening.  Know the truth of creation; "what you see is what you get."

Declare it every day and let it go.  Live your life knowing who you are.  Nothing is more important than agape.  As our self-love encompasses Oneness, our focus incorporates joy for all of us.  There can be no disappointment in a life fully and intentionally lived.  All moments are expected, experienced fully and appreciated.

With gratitude for each component of us and for every part played, stay present in the Now.  From there all of life begins.  As we let go of our death grip of expectation on those most visible players of this end game, we'll see an exponential increase in effect.  Only we can do this.

This is what Masters do, we support the whole.  You empower each other and in turn, propel us all towards absolute knowing.  You are the One.

It is true: "Plants give us healing, However it is a pre-requisite That We first acquire some profound knowledge of Them in order to know exactly about Their effects, Their dangers, and Their virtues."

That's what we intend here: "Spreading this knowledge far and wide to make plants known for bettering human health with the am virtues, positive and negative effects, and toxic dangers as well."

Although the title of this blog is related to "Herbs", it is more accurate to use the term plants, included here as herbs, trees and shrubs.

Some of the plants disclosed herein are little known and cultured in Portugal, but the majority are very common. Our goal is to present the properties of these plants and their by-products: fruits, flowers, bark, roots and leaves.

The methods we extract Maximise and these properties are teas, decoctions, patches, ointments and tinctures.

Saffron

SAFFRON, Crocus sativa - iridác

Serbácea Plant with the bulb massive, flattened, dry scales, having some leaves near the top rudimentary. Whitish and other green slightly ribbed; flowers with short stalk, with the tube perigonial very long, purplish, with longitudinal grooves.

The stigmas are red jagged at the apex tubulosos and shaped horn.

Saffron has also been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. Historically been used in the treatment of cancer and depressive states. Such applications have been researched today. Promising and selective effects against cancer have been observed in vitro and in vivo, but not yet in clinical trials. Antidepressant effects were also found in vivo and in preliminary clinical studies. There is therefore interesting perspectives for the use of extracts of turmeric in rational phytotherapy.

Mangold

Mangold - Beta vulgaris - Mittelmeer

Chard

Chard - Beta vulgaris - Mediterranean

Chard is a vegetable belonging to the species Beta vulgaris. The chard originated in the Mediterranean basin. It is believed to have been used as both food and medicine from prehistory.

It is thought that this vegetable has been valued in ancient Greece, as was mentioned by philosophers such as Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC).
In the eighth century, chard cultivation was common in China, then spread to the rest of Asia. Even today it is a key ingredient of the cuisine of various countries in the Far East.

In Europe, the chard started become popular, especially in France, from the Middle Ages.

In actuality, because chard is grown in temperate zones, is widespread worldwide, and can be found several varieties, including the crisp chard, sporting dark green leaves, white stalk and a taste that resembles the spinach, chard stalks that features large white and green leaves, Japanese and Swiss chard leaves and closed juxtaposed with yellowish at the base and core and pale green on the edges.

In Portugal the chard is available for consumption between October and June.

Nutritional Information

The chard, like the other vegetables, is low in energy and high in water. Also noteworthy is its content of vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and fiber.

Nutritional composition table (100g edible portion)

g = grammg = milligrams= Edible portion with respect to the weight of the food that is consumed after all discarded waste.Source: Lima D, Colugnati F, et al. Brazilian Table of Food Composition. New York: Center for Studies and Research in Food, State University of Campinas. 2006.
Advantages and disadvantagesThe chard is a vegetable with health interest because of its nutritional profile. The substantial amounts of fiber and water contribute to the normal function of the gut and regulation of plasma cholesterol levels, which contributes to the improvement of the bowel function and cardiovascular respectively.Potassium plays an important role in regulating blood pressure in the balance of body fluids and muscular contraction. The daily intake of potassium may be limited in cases of renal insufficiency

Chard provides appreciable amounts of vitamin C, an antioxidant that enhances the immune system by helping to protect the body against infection and production of collagen, a protein that forms part of various structures of the body, such as skin, connective tissue, cartilage
and tendons.Calcium and phosphorus are involved in the formation and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth, as well, are important during childhood and adolescence to ensure proper growth and development, and in adulthood, for the maintenance of bone mass and teeth and for the prevention of their losses.Phosphorus also contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and aids tissue regeneration.
How to buy and maintainGet a fresh chard with leaves polished, bright, lush and with a firm consistency. Avoid the chard stalk to submit a mole with black marks, or yellowing leaves with dark spots, as these are signs of deterioration. In the cold, the chard keeps it raw or cooked for 3 to 4 days.If you want to freeze the chard, soak the leaves in boiling water and then place them in a container with cold water in order to stop the cooking. Subsequently, store it in the freezer in an airtight container

"Schedding our Previous Believes into Schreds" from Recent Discussion with an ArchAngel

Up in Smoke

Michael 56

Archangel Michael and his dread sword of truth

In a recent Hour with an Angel pre-record with Archangel Michael on the angelic kingdom, AAM gave me a taste of the deconstruction of our belief systems that we may face in the upcoming months.

He disabused me of the notion that spiritual evolution is, as Rumi for instance says, (1) a straight line from mineral to plant, animal, human, angel and then back again to God.

And he disabused me of the notion that the angelic kingdom sees a being "rise" from angel to archangel through the intermediate realms to cherubim and seraphim. Instead he represented the latter as a circle.

We're going to need to discuss the whole matter further in a future show before I feel comfortable thinking I can explain the new insights he's making available.

But I realized that the position I was in is one we're all going to be in perhaps from now on. There went thirty years of research up in smoke.

More and more of our ways of seeing things are going the way of the dodo.   And how are we going to weather that storm?

We began discussing yesterday (2) what my own preconceptions are on that (preconceptions that may not last through tomorrow).

Perhaps let me expand on what I said yesterday in hopes that it has a slightly longer shelf life or leads to at least the next stone we can use to step across the pond.

When we think of how we're going to weather the fall of our cherished beliefs, some things arise as useful to keep in mind. The first one is that I don't think it's wise to become polar about our beliefs – either strongly accepting them or strongly rejecting them. It isn't that we're to become negative towards anything we let go of. I think it's more that we're to become neutral.

A synonym, as far as I can see, for "neutral" is "detached" or "complete with." If we move from a position of strongly holding onto a belief to a position of passionately rejecting it, we may succeed in suppressing the belief.

But we won't succeed, I think, in escaping a deeper and more serious condition that underpins duality or polarity itself. And that condition is moving between one extreme of emotion to another, losing the balance of our mind in the process.

Rather than being strongly for or against anything, I think we're going to need to be neutral about anything thought, believed, suspected, or supposed to be true.

Detaching from that which no longer serves us doesn't involve violent or passionate rejection (except perhaps for an entire way of being like the constructed self). But with simple beliefs, we let go of them more easily (I believe) if we remain neutral with or detach from them.

Speaking more generally, if we want to leave behind our attachment to Third Dimensionality itself, I think we need to be neutral towards it rather than violently opposed to it.

Of course, detachment is not something that can be faked. We're either detached or we're not. Fake it and we just add one more plank to our persona or identity. But I think it can be courted by our preferring and remaining in the center, in the middle.

The stance of neutrality leaves us in that center or middle. We know that the middle is the place that all the messages and teachings we're receiving these days point to as the place to be. For validation of it, we could go all the way back to the Buddha who taught the middle way of neither craving nor averting. Or we could listen to Lao Tzu extolling serenity and tranquillity. Same thing.

The middle can be considered the center. It can be considered our heart. When we're in balance, we're in the middle, in our hearts.  So another synonym for "neutral" could be "centered" or "balanced."

I never miss a chance to repeat this: "balanced" in the spiritual sense does not mean equal weights in two counterbalanced scales; it means remaining in the center or the heart. When we remain in balance, in the center, in the heart, all strong passions, whether of acceptance or rejection, fall away. They can't gain a foothold.

Attachments fall away from the person who remains in the center. Those folks are called equanimous, serene, tranquil.

So now let me repeat all these synonyms or related concepts: neutral, detached, complete, balanced, middle, center, heart, equanimous, serene, tranquil. All of these are pointing to the same ground of being which it's not only important to explore during pre-Ascension times, but during all our lives forever after.

The center or the heart is the eternal rabbit hole; fall into the center. The center is the eternal black/white hole that leads us back to God. All your falling dreams? I expect they're about not only a return to the center, but a return to the center of the center, the deepest center we can imagine and reach.

When we were fighting the cabal, it seemed advisable to be passionate and strong, courageous and outspoken. But now that we've freed ourselves from most of the darkness, the preferred skill set shifts, just as it shifts between wartime and peacetime (unless of course one has chosen the highroad of pacifism).

The preferred skill set now becomes neutrality, balance, and centeredness.  The preferred result becomes serenity, tranquility, and equanimity.

Now of course Archangel Michael could come along tomorrow and utterly demolish what I just said here, but if he does, I intend to remain neutral, balanced, and centered as I watch this new pet theory bite the dust as so many theories will in the times ahead.

I died as plant and rose to animal.
I died as animal and I was man. …
Yet once more I shall die as man, to soar
With angels blest; but even from angelhood

When I have sacrificed my angel soul,
I shall become what no mind e'er conceived.

Proclaims in organ tones, 'To Him we shall return.'"

Do you know anything about "Oil-Pulling?

Re-blogged from Waking Times

Oilpulling: A Healing Therapy For Dozens of Diseases

Waking Times

Oilpulling is an age old Ayurveda process which works on the root cause of symptoms and helps the body in its healing process, hence takes significant amount of time in giving you the desired results. The cost is the price of a daily spoonful of coconut oil–cheaper than even a vitamin tablet. Yet it is one of the most powerful forms of therapeutic techniques available.

Oilpulling or oil swishing involves swishing oil in the mouth. Ayurvedic literature describes oilpulling as capable of both improving oral health and treating serious and systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus or asthma. According to Dr. F. Karach, M.D, oilpulling is very simple, completely harmless, and inexpensive therapy which totally heals head-aches, bronchitis, tooth pain, thrombosis, eczema, ulcers and diseases of stomach, intestines, heart, blood, kidney, liver, lungs and women's diseases. It heals diseases of nerves, paralysis, and encephalitis. It prevents the growth of malignant tumors, cuts and heals them. Chronic sleeplessness is cured.

Compared to other forms of detoxification it is relatively effortless. It doesn't require dieting, fasting, or consuming unpleasant, and often bowel loosening, mixes of herbs and pills. And it is completely harmless. All you are doing is rinsing your mouth out with an oil–a food. You're not even swallowing the oil. What can be more benign than that? Nearly anyone can do it, regardless of their level of health. If you have health issues, don't let the simplicity of oilpulling deter you from trying it. Sometimes the simplest procedures produce the greatest results.

The oil is "worked" in the mouth by pushing, pulling, and drawing it through the teeth for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. It is done one to three times a day on an empty stomach. The best time is in the morning before eating breakfast, but can be done before any meal. The used oil is discarded and the mouth rinsed out with water. The oil is never swallowed because it is loaded with bacteria, toxins, pus, and mucous.

Problems such as deformities of the oral cavity, plaques and infections were managed in ancient India. Research has shown that all kinds of chewing sticks described in ancient Ayurveda texts have medicinal and anti-carcinogenic properties.

Oilpulling works the same way as cleaning soaps. Soaps are basically fats that attract germs in order to clean. Oilpulling attracts germs and bacteria to 'pull' them out of your mouth. It cleans your gum line without damaging your gums. It has been known to cure problems with bad breath, and helps with gum inflammation. It can also help prevent and reverse tooth disease.

Scientific validations of the Ayurveda dental health practices could justify their incorporation into modern dental care. Publicity of these techniques using appropriate media would benefit the general population by giving more confidence in the ancient practices, thus preventing tooth decay and loss.

Oilpulling therapy can be done using oils like sunflower oil or sesame oil. The sesame plant (Sesamum indicum) of the Pedaliaceae family has been considered a gift of nature to mankind for its nutritional qualities and desirable health effects. Sesame oil is considered to be the queen of oil seed crops because of its beneficiary effects. However, coconut oil is the most pleasant inside the mouth and many suggest the most effective.

A study was conducted by Asokan S et al (2009) to evaluate the effect of oilpulling with sesame oil on plaque-induced gingivitis, and to compare its efficacy with chlorhexidine mouthwash. A total of 20 age-matched adolescent boys with plaque-induced gingivitis were selected for this study. They were divided randomly into the study or oilpulling group (Group I) and the control or chlorhexidine group (Group II) with 10 subjects in each group. Plaque index and modified gingival index scores were recorded for the 20 subjects and baseline plaque samples were also collected. There was a statistically significant reduction of the pre- and post-values of the plaque and modified gingival index scores in both the study and control groups (p < 0.001 in both). The oilpulling therapy showed a reduction in the plaque index, modified gingival scores, and total colony count of aerobic microorganisms in the plaque of adolescents with plaque-induced gingivitis.

Choosing The Right Oil

It is recommended that organic, unrefined, cold pressed oils with the life force of the core substances in that oil are intact. Use the best quality you can get –unrefined, cold-pressed, which will not contain chemical residues. If you have access to only refined oil, start with sunflower or sesame oil, both of them shall work effectively. Avoid all poor quality oils that you wouldn't want to eat. Those include corn oil, canola oil, cottonseed oil and soy oil, and those that go rancid very quickly such as flax oil.

Cold-pressed, or expeller-pressed oil is just a better quality oil that doesn't contain chemical residues, and is better nutritionally. Refined oils are high heated which damages the quality to some degree, but still they will work fine for the purposes of oilpulling.

The expulsion process used for expeller pressed oils does generate a certain amount of heat, depending on the type of seed or nut and how much pressure it takes to get the oil out of it. But this is very low compared to the high heat method used for refined oils. Look for a brand of oil with unrefined, organic sunflower oil, sesame or coconut oil.

Oilpulling Method Step by Step

Step 1: First thing in the morning on an empty stomach and before drinking any liquids (including water), pour exactly one tablespoon of sunflower, sesame or coconut oil (or whatever oil you have chosen) into your mouth. We don't recommend doing this process at any other time. Children can also do this with less quantity of oil provided they have control and practice not to swallow the oil.

Step 2: Swish the oil around in your mouth without swallowing it. Move it around in your mouth and through your teeth, as if it was mouthwash (DON'T tilt your head back to gargle). You'll find that the oil will start to get watery as your saliva mixes with it. Keep swishing. If your jaw muscles get sore while swishing, you're putting too much into it. Relax your jaw muscles and use your tongue to help move the liquid around the inside of your mouth. When you do this correctly, you'll feel very comfortable.

There is no right way or wrong way to swish and pull oil. Don't focus on doing it right. Do it with very natural movement. Do this gently, not vigorously, in a relaxed way for about 15-20 minutes.

If you have the unbearable urge to swallow and if it becomes too unpleasant, spit out and try again. It can be a bit unpleasant at first when you're not used to it, but soon you will get used to it, just like brushing your teeth.

When the oil has become saturated with the toxins it has pulled out, it may become whitish and a thinner, milky consistency, depending on the type of oil used. Each time you oil pull, it can take a different amount of time to get to that point, so 20 minutes is a general rule of thumb, but you can experiment with this.

If you spit out before 15 minutes, start again. The process is to make the oil swish enough time in your mouth so that it becomes a white thick substance which is a indication of process completion.

Step 3: As the end of the oilpulling session approaches, spit the oil out, then rinse the mouth with warm salt water. (Just use normal table salt). Salt water rinsing isn't absolutely necessary, but is very helpful as an antimicrobial and to soothe any inflammation. It is also proven to be effective in rinsing out any toxins which may be left out in the mouth.

Understand that this process works better in the morning. If for some reason it is absolutely not possible for you to pratice this method in the morning, you can do this on an empty stomach at any time of the day. Empty stomach means the food is digested completely. Ideally after three or four hours after a meal. (It also depends on the food you are eating).

Oilpulling Method common questions and concerns:

Q: Should I brush before Oilpulling?
No, there's no need to. It's important to brush after oilpulling and clean the mouth thoroughly after toxins are drawn out with salt and water as explained before.

Q: When oil becomes white after 5 min? 10 min? 15 min???
There's no rule of thumb different oils will behave differently, so don't pay attention to when the oil becomes white. Do the oilpulling for 20 minutes and you will notice that oil becomes white.

Q: I was only able to do it for about few minutes, Is it normal?.
It is very common. Because we are not tuned into take oil in our mouths, for first few times there will be some difficulty. You would be amazed by how quickly you can get used to it! It helps if you think about keeping the oil around your teeth and not toward the back of your mouth. Keeping the head tilted down a bit can help with that. Five minutes may be all you need initially, but you may also be able to increase the time because it will become more comfortable. Experiment and you'll find out what works best for you.

Q: I can't help swallowing a little during Oilpulling. Is that harmful?
If you need to swallow a bit during oilpulling, the toxins being drawn out can usually be handled by the digestive system and eliminated properly. When you feel the urge to swallow, just spit the whole thing and restart.

Q: I could only do it for a few minutes, as my mouth was getting tired.
You're probably doing it too vigorously. Just relax and do the swishing in a more relaxed way.

Q: Reasons for doing oilpulling on empty stomach
First, it helps not to have a full stomach if you get a little queasy from the oilpulling experience before you get used to it. Second, the detoxifying effect is a bit stimulating, whereas digestion involves the parasympathetic nervous system, so those are opposite functions. Eating something light may not be a problem, and you can judge by how you feel. If you can oil pull first thing in the morning, that takes care of that problem.

Q: After oilpulling it never turns in to white
The idea is, the viscosity and color should change significantly, but the color depends on so many factors, and can even be slightly different each time. A milky or creamy color is fine.

Q: Does the toothbrush become full of toxins from Oilpulling?
Keep your toothbrush clean by letting it dry out completely between uses. Use one in the morning and a different one at night.

Q: Are there any diet restrictions with Oilpulling?

No actual diet restrictions per se, but oilpulling will work better the more you eat a diet that is right for you individually. You can eat right after oilpulling, no problem.
